Jia became passionate about this cause after reading Rubin Carter’s ‘The Sixteenth Round.’ She then began listening to the Serial podcast and knew it was her purpose in life to help those who have been wrongfully convicted. So many people are wrongfully convicted every year deeply impacting their lives due to lack of evidence or immoral prosecutors and DA’s. This episode is a great listen and eye opening along with inspiring.
